Overview

Redhill Preparatory School provides a warm and supportive atmosphere, nurturing and caring for every individual, instilling confidence and self belief in all. We offer a broad range of experiences and opportunities, to encourage creativity and inquisitive thought, achievable through our belief in small class sizes. We mix opportunity, challenge and a strong work ethic developing a community of learners where happiness breeds success and success breeds high achievers. We believe that it is vital for children to enjoy the learning process and develop a desire to explore their own ideas through discussion, enquiry and hands on investigations, leading to independent learners of the future. We offer a beautiful and stimulating environment in order to inspire all of our pupils, irrespective of race, religion, gender or ability. At Redhill Preparatory school we feel it is important for every child to fulfil their potential with a strong and positive sense of self-identity that will last them a lifetime.

About us

We have a ‘no limits’ approach to the childs’ learning and development that produces excellent academic results and outstanding achievements in every field. We want all our pupils to attain outstanding academic results and the personal confidence and self-belief to enable them to be successful individuals at every stage of their lives.  We are  therefore committed to providing an environment in which every pupil will be encouraged and supported, while developing the learning skills and curiosity they will need to be able to set and reach their goals.  We want our pupils to discover their passions and achieve in all areas including sport, music, drama and the arts, while being empowered to contribute to the lives of others, making an active and positive difference to the world around them. We teach in small classes where each individual can explore the learning culture in a supportive environment while being challenged and stimulated by group discussion and debate. Homework is designed to consolidate and revisit work outside the classroom, driving independent study and thinking skills.  Teaching is carried out in all subjects – from drama to science – in a community that encourages pupils to develop a system of spiritual beliefs and a moral code, as well as developing personally, socially and culturally.
