Rednock is a school where we want to be. Our vision is to be a school where everyone matters and thrives in a safe, healthy and sustainable environment that sits at the heart of our community. Our staff are committed to delivering a high-quality education in partnership with our students, their parents/carers and other stakeholders with leads to success for all.
At the heart of our pastoral programme is our community system, providing support and allowing everyone to flourish. Year 7 to 11 are in mixed aged tutor groups and each tutor belongs to one of our four communities. We believe that education is not confined to the classroom and we recognise that there is more to we can do to develop students with a rich cultural capital. We offer the opportunity to attend school clubs and activities, residential school trips, an extensive range of extra- curricular clubs and sports teams, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.
Our Sixth Form provides students with opportunities across a range of A levels and vocational courses. Students are offered a choice from a wide selection of subjects to develop a personal Sixth Form programme tailored to their own needs and aspirations. We remain committed to developing and strengthening our sixth form offer for students.
We welcome new colleagues with an induction programme and pride ourselves on the opportunities we offer to support your progression. For ECTs, we fully support your transition to Rednock. You will have an induction mentor and personal mentor helping to oversee the holistic view of your progress.
