Overview

We are a successful and happy school where our children are encouraged to achieve their best and take responsibility for every aspect of school life. Through an inovative curriculum they develop their interests and talents to become caring, considerate members of the community. The standards of behaviour at our school are outstanding and visitors to the school frequently comment on the ethos of our school and the politeness of our children. The way our whole school treats one another is hugely important to us as we want our children to be good citizens as well as good learners. In recent years we have achieved a number of successes. As well as having consistently high standards throughout the school we have achieved our International Schools Award Drug Aware Eco Healthy Schools Award Dyslexia Friendly Investors in Pupils and Investors in People We aim to provide a broad, balanced and creative curriculum for all of our children and are extremely proud of our SMSC provision and the fact that all of our children have the opportunity to learn Spanish from the age of 3. Our Governors are extremely pro-active as evidenced through the recent Professional Review of Governance. Parents and carers are warmly welcomed into our school through a range of social and learning experiences including adult learning, theme days and workshops. We work in close partnership with the Transform Trust School Alliance, the partnership of local schools and we are an outward looking school (Challenge Partners March 2016).
