Overview

Sandfield Close is a diverse and welcoming school where the children’s best interests are at the heart of everything that we do.

We consistently work alongside parents and carers as we understand the importance a positive home-school partnership plays in a child’s academic and social development.

Our staff work hard to ensure that all of our pupils achieve their full potential.

We are an inclusive school where expectations are high, and we support all children to achieve everything they can in order to be the best version of themselves. We are a happy, friendly welcoming school with happy, well-behaved children.

Ethos, Aims & Values

At Sandfield Close Primary School, we believe that children should be prepared not only academically, but also for their role as global citizens in the wider world.

By providing access to a broad curriculum, along with a range of experiences, we aim to provide children with the knowledge and skills needed in order for them to succeed in terms of both their education and adult life.

The British Values are embedded within our curriculum so that children are taught to understand different ways of life and are made aware of the importance of tolerance and respect towards one another.

Our school rules focus upon encouraging children to uphold the values which we believe to be important.

These are:

  • We are Responsible
  • We are Respectful
  • We are Resilient
  • We are Resourceful
