Welcome To Our School

Welcome to Seven Fields Primary School

Our vision is that ‘children should be at the centre of everything we do’.

We are all extremely proud of our school and everyone is committed to providing the very best possible education for all our children. Seven Fields is a school where the children feel safe in a happy and stimulating learning environment and where each child is encouraged to enjoy their learning and to develop a lively and inquiring mind. We take great pride that, when visitors walk around the school, they comment on how well the children are engaged in their work in a calm and caring atmosphere.

Seven Fields is an inclusive school in which the children’s voice is clearly heard and where pupils are encouraged to respect each other and their environment and to celebrate each other’s achievements. Our aim is for our pupils to grow in confidence and to become increasingly independent learners. We offer a wide range of activities to enrich the curriculum and enhance the children’s learning.

Our Vision, Aims, Values and Equality

Our visions, aims and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Promotion of fundamental British Values, which are at the heart of the school's work.

Equalities Policy

Seven Fields Primary School believes that all children have an equal right to the provision of education:

At Seven Fields Primary we aim to:

  • engender positive attitudes among our school community so that everyone respects the rights of all people and challenges inequalities based on ability, gender, ethnicity, language, culture, age, class, disability or religion.  We want all our pupils and staff to feel valued as we celebrate their uniqueness.
  • promote equality by examing our policy and practice in school, ensuring that resources like extra classroom support are allocated to all groups according to their need.  To work to eliminate any disadvantage faced by different groups within the school so that all pupils have full access to the curriculum.
  • prepare our pupils for adult life in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual society.
  • ensure that all individuals in our school have opportunities to achieve.  To remove the barriers to success based on prejudice, discrimination or fear of harassment so that people develop high self-esteem, are confident and secure in their own identities and are therefore able to take full part in the learning and development opportunities afforded by our school.
