About Us

St Bernadette Primary School is situated in a residential district five miles from the centre of Bristol. The school provides an education for mainly baptised Catholic children resident within the Parishes of St Bernadette, Whitchurch; St Gerard Majella, Knowle and Sacred Heart, Chew Magna.

Our school has a pleasant field area in addition to two playgrounds which are equipped with agility frames. Situated on the south-east of Bristol the school is bordered by St Bernadette Catholic Secondary and St Bernadette Catholic Church. The clergy and parish are very much involved in the life of the school.

We emphasise that as a voluntary aided school we are a Catholic community welcoming and celebrating diversity, bearing true witness to the Christian faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
