Welcome to St Chad's

Learning to love, loving to learn.

In a densely populated area with many primary schools to choose from, we pride ourselves in being a Church School at the heart of our community. We welcome children and their families of any denomination or no faith. Together with our families and within our Christian ethos we support, guide, encourage and challenge every child to want to make full use of their gifts and to discover gifts they didn’t know they had. We are a school where everyone is valued by all and we help our pupils to value everyone else in the school community and beyond.

St. Chad’s is a special place where everyone is dedicated to providing a stimulating, exciting environment in which every individual is respected and safe, challenged to achieve their best, enabling them to develop the skills to become lifelong learners and become the very best they can be. We define ourselves through our values that underpin all of what we do.

At St Chad’s we provide a broad, well-structured and engaging curriculum delivered by talented and caring staff. We have high expectations of all our pupils, enabling them to develop self-confidence and independence, recognising that each and everyone has a part to play as a responsible member of our learning community and the world we all create. We put great emphasis on the development of social and emotional skills from which academic, creative and physical development can be built upon.

The environment we provide for this is stimulating and exciting, recognising that education takes place both in the classroom and outside, as well as through a range of learning styles.
