We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to St Egwin’s CE Middle School, which is set in the beautiful Worcestershire town of Evesham.

We value the achievements and successes of all of our pupils and are proud that during their three years at St Egwin’s that children are taught through a broad and balanced curriculum that celebrates the diverse range of subjects designed to support all students to foster a love for learning within a supportive Christian ethos.

We passionately believe that our three school values of Love, Respect and Endeavour form a wonderful platform to help our students with a strong moral purpose for the rest of their lives.

Each pupil is placed in one of our five Houses and is a member of a form group where the tutor provides daily guidance and support. We have an outstanding pastoral team who get to know each child very quickly and are therefore able to provide bespoke support wherever required. There is a real sense of community at our school which is evidenced in so many ways, whether it be in the curriculum, during break and lunch times or as part of our amazing extra-curricular programme.

We want the best for every child and have designed an inclusive curriculum that gives every child access to a wide range of knowledge that will assist them with the next stage of the education when they leave us. We have high ambitions for all and whilst we recognise that for some children there are aspects of learning that can be demanding, we take great pride in watching the amazing things that pupils achieve on a daily basis.

Our extra-curricular opportunities are a real strength of the school and we are proud of the diverse range of clubs, trips and opportunities that exist. Our staff really do go the extra mile and as a consequence the pupils at St Egwin’s thrive on the array of activities on offer.

Our Vision and Values

The St Egwin's Vision:

Our Community fosters dignity by valuing every individual and their God-given uniqueness.

We endeavour to act justly, showing love and respect.

We thrive through growing resilience and living together gratefully with joy.

We are proud to be a Church School that is at the heart of our community, working with an inclusive and comprehensive outlook. Our three key values are Love, Respect and Endeavour which are the bedrock of our caring and ambitious school.

We operate a secondary school model with our ambitious curriculum which ensures that we prepare pupils for High School after their time with us. We place great importance on a broad and balanced curriculum and to that end we ensure that every pupil is exposed to a rich diet in the education with us.

Our passion for a broad and balanced curriculum is well supported by our excellent House system that ensures that every pupil has a sense of belonging and identity. Every pupil contributes to their House in a wide range of opportunities which are designed to emphasise the values of love, respect and endeavour.

Alongside the curriculum and House system we are extremely proud of our varied and exciting extra curricular offer which exemplifies our commitment to the ‘whole child’. We aim to inspire all members of our school community and ensure that the eclectic range of clubs really does ensure that there are many things for everyone to immerse themselves in.

We are a thriving school, sat in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Evesham. We have 450 children on roll across the 3 years (Y6, Y7 and Y8). We are lucky that our children are highly teachable and our own ambitions are our only limit. This is a great time to be part of St. Egwin’s success.

We offer a warm, welcoming and dedicated professional team of staff with great facilities. We are a very happy staff in a school that looks after its own. Well-being matters to us and is seen in how the school is run on a day-to-day basis.

Making superb learning opportunities available to all the young people in our school requires exceptional teachers and support staff.
