Welcome

We are a vibrant learning community with our children at the heart of all we do.

Our team of committed and talented staff have developed a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and responsive to every child’s needs.  Most importantly, it is highly successful in ensuring our pupils acquire the characteristics and key skills for academic success and to achieve in all areas of life.

We are proud of our warm and supportive environment.  Staff work closely in year group teams so that they get to know each  child and are able to develop strong relationships.  Our restorative approach underpins the pastoral support we offer and helps children learn how to work happily and effectively alongside one another.

Our aim is simple; to empower every child to shine.  Throughout their time with us, children are offered a wide range of experiences and opportunities with high levels of expertise to nurture their talents as they grow.

The learning environment is set within our wonderful old building. Built in 1902, it offers us bright and welcoming classrooms and the luxury of additional space for phase libraries, two sports halls, a fully equipped cooking classroom and a dedicated ‘well being’ room.  All areas are well equipped with the latest technology that includes interactive TVs, smartboards and class based iPads.  There is a highly focused outdoor learning environment for the Early Years.  The school garden is the hub of our growing activities and a purpose- built 3G pitch enables all year round sports.  The restored school bell rings every morning to welcome the school community.
