Whitehall Primary School is a happy and exciting school in Evington in Leicester City serving a rich and diverse multicultural community. We have nearly 560 children on roll and they enjoy an exciting and vibrant education thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff which has resulted in excellent end of Key Stage assessment results and a superb OFSTED report in October 2006.  We are a positive school and use a number of encouraging strategies to ensure that children feel safe, settled and valued and ready to learn. This is supported by the awareness of learning styles so that our children can access the curriculum in a variety of ways.

We want our children to enjoy learning and to encourage them to become lifelong learners and citizens of the world. We are proud to hold National Healthy Schools Status and we were the first school in Europe to be awarded EMAS status for our work in promoting recycling and other environment saving strategies.
