Everyone involved at Woodstone works very hard to make the School a happy and creative place for the children to flourish and grow. We aim to provide our children with the skills that they will need for the rest of their lives. We believe in traditional values but we are always aware that we are preparing the children for today and tomorrow (not yesterday). Our emphasis is on developing skills and teaching children how to improve their own learning and how to live harmoniously with others. We have a rich indoor learning environment (e.g. ICT suite, Library, Radio & TV studio) which is complemented by outstanding outdoor facilities and learning areas (gardens, ponds, woodland areas etc.).

Children develop best when we in school work with parents, promoting the same values and sharing their progress. We try our best to listen, to understand and to act on worries and concerns. School staff are always available to discuss any aspect of your child's education. We operate an 'open-door' policy at the school. If you have any queries or concerns please don't hesitate to contact your child's class teacher or the school office. We are all here to help. In short, we will do our best to do what we need to do to get every child where they need to be...and hopefully beyond. The primary phase of education is one of the most important in a child's learning journey and at the centre of their future development. It is a time when we aim to nurture, in children, a lifelong love of learning. In leading children on this journey we pride ourselves on making the route fun, exciting and enjoyable.
