If you’re not sure where to start when it comes to taking your next step in teaching, you’re not alone.
Recruitment experts are a useful resource at your disposal, bridging the gap between you and a school, and helping you take the next steps towards a new role.
There are many misconceptions about recruitment – and we’ll show you just how easy and productive securing your next role through Eteach’s recruitment team could be.
Myth-busting recruitment
Myth: Recruiters don’t understand the schools or roles they’re helping to fill.
Fact: Our team have ex-teachers within their ranks, so they know exactly what it’s like to be in your shoes as well as the hassle of applying directly.
Myth: Recruiters have no impact on the hiring process.
Fact: Conversely, many of our experts have strong and long-lasting relationships forged with schools, and it can be that industry expertise that makes the difference with a successful hire.
Myth: Recruiters only care about filling the roles.
Fact: From the minute our recruiters receive a vacancy from a school or a call from a candidate, they must discern your best interests, highlight your skills and experience efficiently, and facilitate interviews before securing you a role. They do all of this before taking any kind of fee! Considering that, on average, people move jobs every 3 years, it’s in everyone’s interest to maintain a genuine, long-lasting candidate relationship with you at the forefront.
