At Launde, we value strong links between family and school and recognise the importance of a strong partnership to ensure we provide the very best education for our pupils. Through this partnership, we nurture the unique character, skills of each child and ensure well-being of our children is paramount. Our child centred approach is captured in our vision:
'nurturing happy, resilient and unique individuals'
Children are at the heart of all we do. We are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can reach their full potential. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the individual needs of all our pupils, ensuring that they receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the future. We inspire a 'can do' attitude for both staff and pupils, where we look to take small steps forward with encouragement and collaboration, working together to be the best we can be.
We are proud of our dedicated team of staff who work extremely hard to achieve this aim. As a large school with over 630 pupils, we understand the importance of providing a consistent and high-quality learning experience for all our children. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff work closely together to ensure that every class receives the same excellent standard of teaching and support. Work is planned jointly, in year groups with close liaison, communication and support from our amazing teaching assistants and support staff.
At our school, we think it is very important that our pupils develop a strong set of values and principles and that they question and understand what it means to grow up in British society. We are committed to promoting British values and ensuring that all children feel included and respected. We celebrate diversity and welcome pupils from all backgrounds, faiths, genders, and abilities. Our school is a place where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported.
