Thank you for visiting our career page. We are a warm, welcoming, family orientated and fantastic one form entry Catholic Primary School located in the heart of Loughborough on Hastings street. Our school has amazing diversity with caring, spiritual, creative and dynamic pupils and staff. St Mary's is a member school of the St Thomas Aquinas Multi-Academy Trust, with all the Catholic schools in Leicestershire. We are very well situated with our location so close to St. Mary's Parish church, the University, College and Loughborough town centre, enabling the school to use these resources imaginatively in our curriculum planning. With the Catholic ethos at it's centre, it is an exciting place to learn and work, with coaching and nurturing of all at it's heart. 

St Mary's School is very blessed to be in a central location in Loughborough. This enables the school to be part of a fantastic Catholic community, with the Church of St Mary's right at our doorstep and part of a wider community which includes the university, local library and a wide range of schools. We have made fantastic links with all parts of the community and look forward to strengthening these.

St Mary's School has enjoyed the strong parish links with St Mary's church. We have benefitted greatly from the University of Loughborough links. University students on the 'Right to Read' project, come into school to read with the children weekly and sport's coaches offer clubs at lunchtime and after school. Our Year Six class visit the University, to see the facilities on offer and many students volunteer at school, with a view to becoming a teacher or teaching assistant.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Loughborough is part of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

The Trust was established by the Rt Rev Patrick McKinney, Bishop of Nottingham, and came into being on 1 September 2018.

There are 21 schools within the trust (4 Secondary and 17 Primary), providing an excellent standard of education to around 8,000 pupils.
