If you are searching for a culturally diverse, vibrant and affordable place to settle down, Harrow is certainly worth considering.

Teaching in Harrow Borough

Harrow is found to the North-West of London bordering the home county of Hertfordshire. It is a hugely diverse borough with over 40% of the population coming from ethnic minorities. Despite this, the majority of the borough boasts a very respectable standard of living due to its access to vast green open space and greenbelt land. As a result of this and its great schools, namely the world famous Harrow School, and its close proximity to central London, the borough has become a hugely popular place to live and work. Boasting a real village-like atmosphere there is an abundance of heritage and history to explore throughout the borough.

Harrow is a largely residential and suburban borough with varying degree of wealth, similar to all London boroughs. However due to the presence of the famous Harrow School many consider it as a particularly affluent area. Despite this, Harrow is an affordable place to live and rent. Harrow town centre boasts two large shopping centres, St Ann's and St George's, that are among the ten largest retail centres in London so all your shopping needs can easily be met.
